The Gimkit Speedrunners channel never released any segmented speedrun, and if ur talking about the segments with Roblock in it then that’s the point of a segmented speedrun. To collect the fastest times people have completed sections of a game to make a ‘perfect time’

I remember this segmented vividly, I also remember immortal not allowing me to get a way better summit 3 start that wouldve saved over 3 seconds back then. I also remember telling him to put other segments in that would be faster in places but uh, I dont know if it was just lazyness or if he just never saw my messages cuz he never responded. Not to mention I also got a faster summit 5 thingy but he didnt put it in lmao. I dont know if he even remembers but uh yea. Was still insanely good for a segmented back then just couldve been like sub 5:45.

Yeah looking back on this segmented run hilarious. Summit 2 was ahead of the WR at the time by only a third of a second even though the boost used in that WR wasn't even the best that was known to be possible, Summit 3 was only a second ahead of the NO PREBOOST WR THAT DIDN'T GET SHELF SKIP OR BASKETBALL BOOST AND HAD SLOPPY MOVEMENT. Summit 5 was in a boost for most of it and somehow was only about half a second ahead of the NO PREBOOST WR.

@@snipergundude7plays240 This isn’t actually hacks. We manipulated lag in the game of Don’t Look Down to teleport up there, skipping the hay maze. Although this method of skipping has been unofficially banned in videos such as these, this is the only video that uses it.

The lasers in summit 6 actually take 3 frames of the video, or 0.1 seconds to kill you. On top of that there are multiple more frames of video delay added onto that, which gives the effect of the gim seeming to touch the lasers, but not dying.

If you jump or slide off the corner of an object in the right way then you can get a speed boost that can be maintained with certain movement

There are certain setups for each corner boost or speed boost, if you’d like to know then try watching other speedruns and pay attention to the movements the people do to get the speed boost

The lasers in summit 6 don’t actually kill you instantly when you touch them. They actually take 5 frames or 0.167 seconds to kill you, so Roblock managed to barely survive the lasers.

If you jump off of the corner of an object in a certain way it will give you a speedboost that varies in speed. Speedrunners have individual setups for each boost they go for.

Who’s gonna tell him that speed boosts are a literal speedrun technique that real speedrunners use and runs that use it are accepted on the OFFICIAL speedrun leaderboard. Trust me I’d know if they were speed hacks, especially since I’m the super moderator for the leaderboard for don’t look down on speedrun.com
