Nell looked great in her evening dress. The Chief should have married Nell.

22:08 Shee-it!....today the Chief would be called a bigot or transphobe or anything else for reacting that way. 🤣

Avery Pack Yeah but remember this was the 80s. Besides I think they treated her character respectfully
@averythecoolcat5 жыл бұрын
@@terryr7622 I think so, too, but I know some these days that would get into their feelings about his reaction. Thinking he should still, take one for the team and pursue her as a woman anyway just for the sake of being PC.

Calling a trans person an "It" would be transphobic. Just because it was acceptable back then doesn't make it any less right. There was a time when calling black people the N-word was acceptable, and surely you recognize that's considered racist now, so why would it be any different for offensive terms towards other minorities?
@averythecoolcat2 жыл бұрын
Gee I wish I could be as smart as you. I mean you are so woke and aware that you didn't realize that I didn't call anyone an "it" I said "shee-it" which is a derivative of a curse word that we all use often. Too busy trying to be self-righteous, until context escapes you.
@Mugiwara2k2 жыл бұрын
@@averythecoolcat Really, like really? You're going to sit there and pretend like there's a big difference between calling someone "shee-it" and "it", as if either one is any less worse? Call me "woke" if you like, I'll take it as a badge of honor, it just means I'm not a garbage person.
