The school is known for having a big dance troupe club. The director and choreographer of this dance club (Tomioka Dance Club), is the same choreographer for avantegardey, the all girls japanese dance troupe that went to america's got talent.

it is not THC, it is TDC and stands for Tomioka Dance Club, and yes they are a high school dance club from Osaka. Their dance coach Akane was the choreographer for Avantgardey who competed in America's Got Talent.

It is not hard. Learn to count music. Counting music is the subject matter of the first music lesson on any instrument. Think of ballet, the music there is much more nuanced and can be hard to count, but they are all in perfect sync. Counting "four on the floor" modern dance music is much easier.

Each dancer memorizes their own part of the routine and then put them altogether and it appears that everyone is moving with super coordination.

This is how choreographed dance should look like! I see way to many routines where some dancers just do simple hand movements or stomping the ground in shows. Here every dancer is moving to their fullest capabilities. Even the small hip thrusts at 0:07 is so well executed its insane! Perfectly synced and just big enough to give a feeling of the vibe instead of something exagerated! As a dancer myself and someone whos worked in theaters and opera houses, this was one of the most enjoyable performances ive seen from both a technical and show aspect!

I really like this! Outstanding choreography, especially with such a mass of dancers, lots of different segments...but I think my favorite is the highly colorful outfits, each one unique and yet very similar in their patterns, creating a collage of differences that also contains unity. (Also, the curly wigs!)
