Funny though how in 1970 Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin were literally “playing 45 year old songs from 1925.” The irony here is incredible. The entire genre of rock music emerged from covers of the recorded blues music of the 1920s and 1930s. And many of THOSE songs were variations of much older spirituals and field hollers.

That floor tom needed to be involved, otherwise it was decent. I liked the pattern on the original too much, which each though it's simple flams, the pattern is going down the kit so you get a deeper sound.

This is a great rendition by these young, talented people. Maybe the best song from the greatest rock band of all time. The highs that the girl in red shorts hit absolutely made this performance. The whole band was decent, but these two girls were the stars. Their voices could not have been much more perfect together on this particular tune.
