Just saw them in concert last night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Give me a shelter blew me away. That beginning rift is so haunting. It just reaches deep into my soul each and every time no matter how many times I hear it.

This song is older than I This song I first heard around the age of 5 Even at that age, there was something that I just clicked with. Something that I couldn't let go of Something that really did resonate in the "I really do like this" of my brain And when I could, this song became part of my daily playlist to this day, played with the same wonder as 45 odd years ago Thank you ♥️

There was one problem with the final mix. Mick and Merry's voices were buried by the backing, sounding as though they had been shut out of the studio, struggling to be heard. But I found a much better drumless mix where their vocals were brought upfront, so you can hear the lyrics for the first time ever. You also get the full unfaded ending for the first time which more than compensates for the lack of drums, kzbin.info/www/bejne/npPFnYNrf6l_b5Y

"Southern Man" a "racist" anthem? I think you meant to say "antiracist."

@mackb909 I did mean to say "antiracist' and discovered the mistake after I published!
