Having played the mirror match before, it's the right call to wait until you have at least 3-4 clears before you kiljaeden. Roffle just got unlucky. I've been +10/+10 ahead on my kiljaeden vs the opponent's before, and still lost just to yoggs and boardclears.

⁠Yeah, big demons as your only play against hydration station will leave you just as empty on board midgame as delaying your kil jaeden leaves you stranded later against their portal

Yup. I’ve played starship rainbow DK against it but might change helya for kil jaeden to get some counter against it. I can’t seem to win otherwise

The sad part is, if he'd played kj on 7, he'd have been run over by the opponent's infinite card draw and mana and also playing kj since they'd had in hand for ages.

To me personally, I feel like Roffle seems a bit burned out of HS which I honestly cant blame him. Shorter videos, drop in daily posting. I just wish everything is fine with him, it could be interesting exploring new games if he feels like taking a break from HS.

2:43 - 2:50 - missplay, should've hit with hound first, post reborn doge would still give the damage for threads, while -1 hp on dragon would make him proc threads itself and maw & paw would live at one hp

@@ButzPunk yeah, that is what most annoys me about the card. I do not play Tavern Brawls because they are often RNG fiestas like the Egg Painting or Portal - you get lucky RNG and you win. Kil'jaden is those Tavern Brawls in every mirror match.

with 8 hands in this deck, youre always guranteed your 7+ cards and at least 2 6 drops. assuming you draw at least 2 6+ cost cards outside of 8hands, you always will have both airlock breaches

Maybe try posting a different genre of game? You don’t seem like you’re enjoying HS but I think some ppl in the community react negatively towards switching to another card game. Maybe try other stuff like an rpg, shooter, or rouge like

The problem with switching to variety content is that we (as in - people that watch Hearthstone content on KZbin) are an audience that is exceptionally bad at transitioning to other games. At least that's what Rarran said about a year or two ago on stream. Actually, now that I think about it, he did try something else. There is a Slay the Spire video uploaded 9 months ago - it has 10k views, same amount of views as this video got in 6 hours.

I’ve been using a very similar deck but using a Beast Wrangler to get the 8 Hands down by Turn 6 sometimes by Turn 5. Works very well
