Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video inspiring for your trip planning! This video was actually filmed on October 30th (2022), so the weather should be fine during your trip in mid-October. As for lodging, there are some guesthouses in Gimmelwald, but I've never spent a night there so I can't recommend anything.
