Simply the best Gimp tutorial channel there is....and there are some good ones. But this channel is just superb! Fantastic results taught in a clear, concise, and just the right speed way. Love this channel and have learned so much. I do wonder if there is anyway to send a private message discussing something I am having a hard time figuring out. Let me know.

Hey there, James Davis 😃 Thank you so much for you very encouraging and kind comment. I am glad you enjoy the tutorials so much 👍 Unfortunatly, KZbin has removed a little while ago the option for private messages from the channel page. And I have no other webpage, besides this one. So I am sorry about that, 😕 but we have to communicate via these comments. Have a great day . 🌞

I don't have the untitled brush #1 or #2 in my selection running 2.10.4...Where did these brushes come from? Nor can I do any edits for the brush effects. My edit tab looks different, it's just a brush image. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you for your tutorial videos. You are a wonderful instructor.
@gimpworkshop97296 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much, MercuryVaper for pointing this out. 👌The Gimp team has removed the untitled brushes in this version and the other brushes can not be edited. But... I have made a note in the video description on how to solve it. 😆 I hope it helps. Thank you for your compliment and... have a great weekend. 🌞

Great video your tutorials are indepth but not overwellming. Although i have noticed you have more brushes than my version has? Mainly untitled 1. Was this one you created. If so would you concider sharing the brush attributes?
@gimpworkshop97296 жыл бұрын
Hi stumpyjut. Thanks for your nice comment. 😊 I have only the standard brushes in Gimp 2.10.2. I did change several of the untitled brushes, but I have changed the settings back to their default. So I do not know anymore what the settings were... 😕 sorry about that. Thanks again! Jan. GW.

Thanks, my friend for your videos. We wanna know how wrap a flag o a face using GIMP
@gimpworkshop97296 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Sherif El Gazar, glad you like the video's 👍. I have no tutorial on how to wrap a flag over a face, but this one uses the same technique: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZofdaXiJaZ13prM Instead of text, you can use an image of a flag 🏳️🌈. Maybe worth a try 😃. Maybe I will make one in the future, its on my 'things to do list'. Best, Jan.

Salam Jan ; my name is (nezar alasady);this is my second time to send a comment asking for a help and an explanation.I download and install 2.10.2 from (GIMP.org), but I can not (EXPORT) the project,when I hit (EXPORT) ,everything stops..why??
@gimpworkshop97296 жыл бұрын
Hi nezar alasady! Yes, I remember. It's very frustrating when everything stops 🙁. I can't really say what goes wrong... Have you tried EXPORT AS ? You can use the 'export' options for exporting an image. But saving the project should be done with the 'save' options. It's a bit confusing. I also heard that the new Gimp version is not so stable, so I don't hope that you have this problem... 🙁 In the worst case you could try reïnstalling Gimp. (First remove it from your system) Please let me know how you are doing. Thank you for subscribing 👍
@leniehulse16216 жыл бұрын
Did you save first as an .xcf file then export.
@gimpworkshop97296 жыл бұрын
Hi Lenie Hulse. That should not be necessary, but it's definitly worth a try 👍. Thanks!
@نزارناظمالأسدي6 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your reply .I am very hopeless because I reinstalled this version many times and tried (EXPORT AS)and (SAVE AS) but the same result would happen .Therefor I returned to 2.8. Frankly, I am very sad when seeing your and others videos that made by 2.10.2.
@gimpworkshop97296 жыл бұрын
That is indeed sad. We should have fun with Gimp and not this kind of misery... 😔 Turns out that 2.10 is just not stable enough yet. I would say: just work for now with 2.8, maybe make some adjustments when you follow the tutorials (lots of people still do...). And check regularly the Gimp website for updates, so in the future you will also get a properly working 2.10. 👌 Hope that you do not have to wait to long. 🕗 Thank you Nezar, for letting me know. Best regards. Jan.
