김정기 작가님과 모두에게 희망과 위안을 줄 수있는 작품을 만들었습니다.
작가님이 우리의 곁을 떠난지 짧지 않은 시간이 흘렀지만 그는 여전히 영상과 그림 속에 숨쉬고 생동하고 있습니다.
이 작품을 감상하는 동안 만큼은, 자신만의 소우주를 찾아가는 사유의 시간이 되시길 바랍니다.
마지막으로, 이태원 참사 희생자분들의 명복을 빕니다. 깊은 애도를 표하며 같이 아픔을 이겨 나가기를 바랍니다.

This work is dedicated to our dearest Kim Jung Gi and everyone who knows him to deliver the message of hope and comfort.
Though a long time has passed since we lost him, he has always been remembered through his lively art films and paintings.
Thus, we hope that this art film will lead you to your own reflecting thinking moment and discover your own microcosm.

각자의 소우주안에서 반짝이는 별빛을 찾아가는 과정이 되풀이 되고, 그 안에서 가치와 의미를 찾을 수 있을것이라 생각했다.
대아쟁과 생황 그리고 징의 소리가 끊임없이 연결되어 연주된다.
마치 우주 안에서 작은 별이 되어 떠돌아 다니고 있는 모습이 상상된다.
그렇지만 외롭지 않다. 수 많은 별들이 늘 곁에 함께하고 있기에.
[Thinking: Song Description]
I thought that the repeated process of finding twinkling starlights in each person's microcosm could lead him or her to find its value and meaning in it.
The sounds of Dae-ajaeng (big ajaeng), Saenghwang and Jing are continuously played in connection as if they are tiny stars floating around the universe.
Because those countless stars are always beside you, no one will ever be lonely.

It's amazing how a human being can draw like this. I've watched so many videos of him, but he amazes me every time. I heard him say in a video that he likes drawing with brushes, but they are a bit tedious because of the ink, and that brush pens are a good compromise. Brush pens are cool, but after watching this video, I gotta say nothing is cooler than drawing with an actual brush. Man I wish he was still alive. He had so much more to show the world. RIP Legend.

This is probably one of my favorite pieces from KJG. I jut have goosebumps looking at this piece of art.. thank you superani, kim so ra and KJG for this masterpiece. Him puttin down his signature at 6:44, looking at his masterpiece and walking away felt like him saying goodbye. Can't wait for the other episodes to be released - I'll probably tear up on each one of them. I know KJG wouldnt want that we are all sad that he is not among us anymore, keep pushing forward and keep drawing. Sending blessings and well wishes around the world from germany..
