Ms Gina Alajar, came to FEU Mass Com dept to promote SALOME in the 80’s. I was a senior student at that time. My batch was very maarte & snobbish at that time but Gina was the real deal talent that we were all enamoured by her no-nonsense approach and phenomenal performance in Salome that we all fell in love with her. I’m still a huge fan. And who can forget her in Kaya Kong Abutin ang Langit? It’s Maricel’s movie and if not for Gina’s genuine talent, she could have “disappeared” from the enormity of Maricel’s lead role domination but Gina held her own. More power Miss Gina Alajar! ❤️🇦🇺

Awww Ms Gina Alajar was the same age as my mom (17 yrs old when she got married. Thou, arranged marriage in my mom’s case and my eldest brother was also born in July). This was real coincidence, my mom’s bday in June too. The only difference was my mom missed so much in life as she didn’t experience being a teenager and was forced into marriage out of her will, so the marriage fell apart when I was born and ended up in broken family!😢

I saw a movie where Gina did comedic scenes, (I forgot the title), showing how versatile she is as an actress. I remember the late Bella Flores narrating to me the story where the director of the movie Ang Kaibigam Kong Sto. Nino told her to be real mean to the child actors. The child actors literally got sick whenever they we're doing a scene with Bella!
