Disney can certainly choose to not work with someone but I think it probably hinges on the the public statement they made, and also perhaps communication between her and Disney that we might not be privy to yet. I would think Disney saying she was denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities would be a thing they'll have to prove that she did, and also that it wasn't the reason why they fired her. "Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future nevertheless her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable."
