How to cook Ginataang gulay (exact ingredients below)
Ginataang Gulay is a very healthy Filipino dish as it's composed of vegetables and simmered in coconut milk. Serve it with freshly cooked white rice. Best combination with a fried fish as well.
Ingredients:
1tsp of baking soda (for boiling vegetables)
1 small-sized ginger (sliced)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
2 small-sized onions (sliced)
1 cup of coconut milk (2nd extract)
2 tbsp shrimp paste (sauteed)
1 tsp of ground pepper
2 slice of fried pork belly
2 bundle of string beans (blanched)
300g of squash (blanched)
1 cup of coconut milk (1st extract)
1/4 kg fried shrimps
