I really like. How do you like it? I love micro brand cuz they are more rare to me. Affordable. We know the movement and easy to maintain. But I’m really liking this one ! I hope you are happy with it also

I’ve had the no date for about a year and the date cyclops for a couple months. They’re outstanding, excepting the off the shelf movement (which is within 1 spd) I prefer it in every way to the Tudor Black Bay. It’s an insanely good watch, at any price point.

With a wide ranging collection of over 40 watches from $50 to 50k, I can tell you that having off the shelf ubiquitous workhorses for movements will not cause dysrhythmias nor marital discourses when time to pay for their servicing. If you must get into this hobby, then go for the well maintained full set preowned (much smaller delta’s when time to sell) and those that require minimal factory servicing (the costs and turn around times are frustrating), though the latter is unavoidable with high-mid to upper tier luxury brands.

Big fan of Ginault. I have a lot of watches including a number at much higher prices- and my Ginault OR2 is every bit as good as those in terms of build quality, and it's beautiful. It's getting a lot of time on the wrist. Thanks for the review of the Silent Service- good stuff.

My SS with date & cyclops arrived a few days ago and I am just so impressed by the level of quality. Having owned a submariner, current gen GMT, Omega, Tudor… I have to say this SS is on the same level as any of those. This watch has become my favorite daily wearer. Fit and finish is amazing. Currently running -1 spd. Highly recommended it.

I've had mine for over a year, and I haven't wanted another dive watch since, especially Submariner homages. I dare say it looks better than the 2254.50 (I'm not into the Seamaster Professional's design anyway). I like that it's a true homage instead of a 1:1 copy of something else, despite the bracelet being a lookalike. Ginault sourced a very good one, and it's likely as close as I'll get to owning a real Glidelock bracelet.

The entire design is more like a seamaster 300. The sword hands were used first by Omega, and Rolex copied it on their milsub watches. If anything, they used Rolex lollipop second hand.

Mine Silent Service is running cca 18 sec per day, and I'm sooo dissapointed with that and regreting for this quite expensive purchase 👎

Yes they are high quality on the San Martin but the ginault in my opinion is definitely better

San Martin is nice but the Ginault is in an entirely different category.

@@Jedi391 of course, but is it worth the extra coin? The bezel, case and bracelet are pretty amazing on the San Martin. I haven't handled the Ginault, but the bracelet on the SM looks it's equal, if not better.
