Some ol' 50's cool beatnic jazz, rite here. I can see Ginger w/ a lit cigarette dangling from his mouth & sportin' some cool shades. Jasperfish...perfect timing. Wild jammin at the end...I luv it. Halibut.

Rap, 1950s London style! I am transfixed by watching his hi-hat - it never stops and never waivers. I have an app on my phone that measures tempo, DJs use it to match the tempo of beats. Fascinating to use it on a Ginger Baker track - any of them his sense of time is just inhumanely accurate.

If you watch Toad at Albert Hall his leg bounces twice for every one push of the pedal on hi-hat. It's like he's keeping two different times with same leg

Baker's timing is the best. Baker's feet & hands have such natural muscle control. Baker's approach to the drum kit is 1 in it's own like no other.

Yesss...how great to see this video...saw them in Berlin at Quasimodo club on a saturday night...great Gig...jazz for fish...and good ole Ginger snipped a cigaret and nearly hit Jonas's hair...I was standing right next to the stage...concert started very late but it was one of the greatest concerts ever... 😇✌👍👍👍

Cool video, Poor old Ginger, never could settle down playing different venues like the hired gun he was. Well he did it his way , that’s for sure. A drummer that played to his own amazing beat.

I had to chance to see Ginger in Houston about a year ago and miss it. I’ll regret that forever now. Please when there’s a legend and you have a chance to see them don’t let much get in the way.

Yes 4 years ago I saw his band at a small venue and the guy needed help walking on and off stage but when he was playing drums it was like all his pain went away.

I missed seeing Ray Charles at a hotel in NJ because my girlfriend wanted to go swimming or something. So yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

These three did a great album together, released as Ginger Baker's 'Unseen Rain'. Jens plays piano on it, no synths that I recall. Long out of print, so good luck finding a copy, worth it though. 'Jasper Fish' isn't on the album. Halibut...

WOW!!!! A great band, and Ginger's at his best often when he accompanies, where he REALLY shows his timing and jazz skills, like here.

Does anyone knows if this was ever recorded in a studio? I couldn't find the track anywhere.
