Watching Ginger Rogers even in her later years is like watching the bubbles and sparkle in a glass of champagne.

Tom Snyder was just wonderful. I remember these shows that I could occasionally watch late at night when all was quiet. The format and style made you feel like you were in the room and in on the conversation.

Very refreshing to see such a down-to Earth lady, while having been an immense talent in Showbiz. Love her sensible attitude to life and loved her in all the dance ensembles with Fred Astaire , famous and unforgettable pairing. Apparently, she insisted on designing all her own outlandish costumes, clearly, a lady of so many diverse talents.

I really miss Tom, he was a great interviewer. He would ask a question and listen, not start asking another question before they ended what they had to say!

Although Ginger was in her later years, her eyes are the same as when she was in her 20's, beautiful.

Ginger had gorgeous eyes. I did some research on her family and saw a picture of her father, Mc Math, he was a electrical engineer, died at age 45 yrs, but he remarried, could not find much on him, unfortunately she never met him. Her eyes I would say came from her fathers side.

Beyond her legendary dancing, she was a great comedic talent, very quick and funny. Many of my favorite GR movies are her playing a wisecracking role. She was also a fantastic actress in dramas, like Kitty Foyle. I would have loved to have met her and chatted with her. A great lady.

Thank you SO much for posting this interview I it's entirety and not a teaser! I adore Ginger Rogers. There's nothing I don't love about her. I think her fans deserve better than some of the teaser clips that are out there that show 18 seconds of an interview. Anyway, thanks again! It's very much appreciated!

What she had more than anything- and she had great talent - was sex appeal. Even at that age, you just want to cuddle up with her and make her happy. There were better actresses, better dancers etc. But only she had the personality and combination.
