Welcome back to my kitchen! Today, we are tackling one of my favorite dishes! 姜葱炒蟹 ( Ginger Scallion Crab). In this episode, I will teach you guys how to clean and cook live crabs at home. I want to make it very clear that we must minimize its suffering, and so it's important to do it the right way. And you must use fresh live crabs for the best taste.
I hope using a beanie baby was a clear way to demonstrate how to prepare the crab!
So, you'll need:
3 - 4 crabs
a whole lotta ginger
a few stocks of scallions
soy sauce
oyster sauce
chili oil
sesame oil
cooking rice wine
cornstarch
We're gonna fry it up in a wok, just like that!
