I lost my dear niece a month ago. She was like a daughter to me. She lived in an other state and I would “walk” through DT by FaceTime with her and send her what she liked. We shared crafting ideas, recipes. One day she was here, in a moment she was gone. But, she’s in my heart every day. This Christmas will be different for sure. Weren’t we lucky to have that kind of love in our lives? God Bless you!!

Yes you are so blessed in many ways, but also hurting more than you thought you could hurt. I’m glad you had that time to do crafts together. Those will all be remembered as precious times. Grieving comes and goes and catches you by surprise sometimes like someone stabbing you in the back. It tends to take your breath away. But I promise you to look forward to each day and choose. JOY. Happiness comes and goes according to our circumstances, but we can choose JOY everyday no matter the circumstances. Sometimes bitty parties rise up but time them for about an hour and-pick yourself up and move on. The time will get less and less of sadness. Maybe starting a craft group will help you and others to move on. God Bless💔❤️

Your DIYs are always so cute. Love the train. I understand how you feel about the lost of love ones this holiday season. Two weeks ago one of my brothers childhood friend died and my sister and I went to his funeral but my brother wouldn’t go. That next day my brother had to go to the hospital because he thought he was having a heart attack. When he got to the hospital by ambulance they had to put him on the ventilator. He died on my son and his wife’s third year wedding anniversary. We had his funeral this pass Sunday. Lord it hurts so bad. He spoiled my twin sister and I and my children. He had such a kind heart and was always quiet. You talking about hurt. My mom spoiled him as well. She is hurting so bad and the other five children are trying to stay strong but it hurts so bad. God doesn’t make mistakes. I thank God for the time I had with my brother. Pray that you and your family have a sag and joyous Happy Thanksgiving. 🙏🏽❤️❤️🙏🏽You have such a loving heart. I think I had said before that I was going to try and replicate your train. I did, for our gingerbread theme at work. We put up our decorations and the train and everyone loves it. Oh I love this train and plan on making some. To make the snow, I have a new recipe from another friend…6 Tablespoons, baking soda, 2 Tablespoons each, mod Podge and white paint. Mix together and keep in an air tight container. It makes the best snow. Thank you for all you do.

So cute, my Dad and brothers were locomotive engineers. The conductor is in the passenger car working with the assistant conductors. In freight trains, they are in the caboose, along with any extra crew members. The conductor is in charge of the train. I have to make one of these!
