I just got a French bulldog 2 weeks ago and it’s been nonstop ever since. It’s definitely like having a toddler, you have to dog proof your house and yard just to find out they can find everything you missed in a matter of seconds ! Hopefully she calms down in a few months she is just 4 months old so still a baby. She is absolutely adorable and I love her so much already !

We have a 12 1/2 yo Frenchie named Scooby, my husband and I feel he is on borrowed time since the lifespan is 10-12 years. He is slowing down but still has his moments, loves to cuddle every night. I make his food because his little tummy is so sensitive, homemade food agrees with him more. Never a dull moment with a Frenchie, Scooby snores but I can position him while on his back so that he can breathe better.

They are a very high maintenance. They have skin issues, respiratory, teeth etc. I have 2 Blues and while I love them with all my heart I wouldn’t have them again. There food(because they get the best we can afford) it’s almost $200 every 6 weeks. We spent almost 12k on getting Blade’s nose reconstructed because of his breathing issues. I honestly want a Doberman. I had 7 Dobies over the course of many years and they are the breed for me. Loyal to a fault, intelligent and highly protective.

@@JoeyToronto if you buy from a reputable breeder who starts with the best blood line and doesn’t over breed or inbreed they don’t have any abnormal health issues. My male was a grand champion as was his father, and my female was a champion from a champion bloodline. They both lived to be 13. I found other good breeders to breed their offspring from,stay away from puppy mills,where they’re only in it for the money, and they will have health issues.

I had a dog, different breed that that a lot of issues and I paid hundreds of dollars if not thousands truing to fix him. I don’t want to go down that road again.

I miss my doggy. Her name was Venus. A Yorkshire terrier I got for my 9th birthday. She was one of the most talented singers ever. I can’t explain other than saying that she moan howled. But it sounded so pretty!!! Her daughter Scout could almost do it too but not as often.
