the black and white ink drawing looks like the Zentangle that was so popular a few years ago. there are still books with patterns available. love the simplicity of the black on white but the intricate ink work is amazing. The 4 panel window with chicken wire looks like a transom that probably only had 1 knob originally. It looks like it could use more than 1 small hanger for such a wide piece. Wish there were more thrift stores like yours around here.

Signed pottery does fairly well on eBay. It’s one of those kinds of things that you may never have paid any attention to but once you start noticing it there’s a lot of it out there. Pays to be picky.

I could go to all 4 of the Goodwill stores in my area and not find anything close to the quality or quantity of what you found. Here, it’s mostly overpriced junk and not much of that. The Restore stores are better, but I have actually seen things in there priced higher than new retail, ALL their prices are way too high. Really good haul, Yvonne! Can’t wait to see the makeovers.

I worked in a store that used to sell much larger versions of you chef pig. They all held menus painted on a board usually in French.

I have one of the large chef pigs in terracotta. It was part of a Tuscany-style kitchen design in the late 1990’s. Mine holds the chalkboard horizontally (yours in vertical). The hole in the pigs hand fit a dowel rod that was attached to the chalkboard. That way you could remove the board to write on it, but it would be very stable (not prone to falling or tipping forward) when replaced. It was designed to sit on the catering table during parties and announce what was being served. Mine currently sits in top my frig and the board reads “Kitchen closed”. 😊

Really loved the lidless cookie jar! I would use the red stool as a riser. And I've never seen a mirror that I didn't love - they make a beautiful accent wall.

Hi Yvonne, with the pulleys you have you could suspend an old ladder in your laundry as a drying rack. You could just hang shirts etc on coathangers off the rungs to dry. Love the mirror!

I am finding that with the world events that a whole different set of people are coming into my booth and of late some things that have sit for months walked out of my booth so you just never know. I do take things out more to just freshen up my booth and can bring some of the items I take out back in later and they sell.

I'd use the pulley to hold the 2 enamel pig buckets filled with lavender. You might sell all three of them at the same time. I know I couldn't resist them. Love the rabbit with the glasses. So many great finds.
