You can’t only give us queer coded villains growing up and not have some of us be into it

Also! The locked Tomb series. The gays are gaying and they are unhinged!

Monstrous by Jessica Lewis - Burn it all down. I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast Is Me by Jamison Shea - The strong survive while the weak may die, take what you want. The Ouroboros duology by H.E. Edgmon - Everyone is someone's villain; often for reasons they don't want to know.

I just finished The Sins On Their Bones, as per your recommendation, and had no idea what to read next. I even felt myself going into a book slump. This video came at just the PERFECT time, so thank you! Your enthusiasm over books is completely contagious, and I'm going to try and jump right into Seven Faceless Saints now :)

I don't normally read dark stories but you make all of these sound SO good. Thank you for recommending so many books I've never heard of instead of the same popular ones.

I binge-read the first three books of the Halfling Saga this month and I *love* it. I cannot wait to see how everything comes to a head in the final book. It was so amazing.

The Genesis of Misery by Neon Yang is a Joan of Arc retelling with mechs, in a queernormative world and with a nonbinary main character, discussing themes of religious fanaticism and classism - it's a weird experience, but I really enjoyed it

Just finished "House of Hunger" which is a retelling of Elizabeth Bathory, the Blood Countess, which is kind of vampires but also sapphic but also a hot mess and it's amazing. Gothic horror at its finest? who can say. I had a hell of a lot of fun with it, and highly recommend. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜
