i feel like you can do any size as long and the chain length is divisible by 4

I wanna make mine 11 x 21 so it’ll fit my desk better. Is there anything special I have to do to make it wider?

Just make more chains in the beginning :) you will have to calculate how many chains tho so that one of the squares at the end isn’t too short compared to the others.

Wait, I'm kind of confused. At 2:00 you said chain 52 plus 1 which would be 53, but then at 2:08 you said it's 52 chains and there's no plus 1 at all. So is it 52 or 53?

@@nyang2742 I had done 52 chains and had to add another single crochet on the last one so I think it’d be 53 I only say that because I don’t know if I miss counted😂
@SofiaSantos-el1rc
@SofiaSantos-el1rc Ай бұрын
It’s 52! She said to chain 53 because you have to skip a chain in order to continue crocheting on the chain. If you were to just go directly into the next stitch, it wouldn’t form a stitch. It wouldn’t work. So every time you chain, always make one extra chain :) but in reality it’s just 52. The extra chain is just for the beginning chain.

This is really nice, but there is one thing that is bugging me. It's the way it looks on the back. The lines of yarn that are just sitting there. Is there no way to work them into the next sections?
@Beanie_baby04
@Beanie_baby04 7 ай бұрын
When u crochet the right side forward, then each time u go into the a stitch, just grab the other color and the string from the wrong side and crochet over it like u would when crocheting over tails and ends.
@Beanie_baby04
@Beanie_baby04 7 ай бұрын
Or just sew a piece of fabric onto the back to hide the lines of yarn
