To All Those People Who Disliked, I really want to know why. Is it because of the song? Is it because of the maker? Is it because of the character? Ginny was always underestimated, the movies made in worse (Eg: Half-Blood prince when she tied Harry's shoe) in the books she was a vibrant, energetic , gutsy gal. She was never afraid to hide her tears. And that's why Harry liked her, not because of Ron. If the song is your problem, you should know it's meant to increase you level of confidence. And if it's the maker, what do you have against Hermione Granger??? This is simply my opinion, feel free to dislike or contradict.

actually if you think about, ginny (in the movie) did have pretty sick and sassy lines, just that she wasnt portrayed enough, and she only seemed awkward in scenes where she wasnt actually saying anthing, like just standing there

I wish Ginny had been portrayed better in the movies. In the books she was powerful, sassy, and the perfect match for Harry. In the movies, she's barely a background character with only a handful of lines. (And, unfortunately, zero chemistry with Harry.) Ginny is my all-time favorite Harry Potter character, but I can understand why people who have only seen the movies and never read the books don't like her. Book Ginny is the GOAT!

But take out Hermione and the story collapses entirely.ron even says they would not last two days without hermione because hermione was so smart they wouldn't even survive without her.how is it that every time ginny does something great harry isn't there .oh so she became such a good seeker? well to bad harrys in detention. while we watch hermione saving the day over and over again ginny's awesomeness is not a fact.when harry is about to do something that's not always the right thing to do hermione tries to make sene and talk him out of it but ginny doesn't care and insults hermione of trying to make sence shes dumb and harry could have got erasted if it worent for hermione granger . jk rowlling said that many people who read harry potter are just average people with a few friend but the fact that ginny was a popular girl who wanted something and got it or that she married harry potter make people look at her as a mean girl wich is something that i agree with and there you have the reasons why Ginny is so unlikeable in comparison to Hermione who always does everything she can to keep Harry alive.

I think u r totally ryt ......ginny was brave but at the same time she was not in so love with harry .....she was a popular and ambitious girl ..her ambition was to become a famous girl ...and she became that by marrying harry...(before marrying potter she was popular too)...what i think is she had an attraction towards harry ...while harry fell for Ginny's charm and bravery ...but i don't ship harry with Hermione as she was perfect for Ron actually i ship luna with him .... I have read books too ...and it has given me the same instinct that ginny was just attracted towards him ...yeah ginny is brave but she won't sacrifice for harry as Hermione did
