Meanwhile, the part I'm most impressed with is not Ginny's skill with a sewing machine (which IS impressive, don't get me wrong), but the unconditional support from her family. She is truly blessed to have parents who don't consider the fantasy genre either satanic or just plain stupid.

What I love about this is that as the highest profile cosplayer who has actually been the first person to recreate Tasha’s look in real life, you will literally be the trendsetter for the physical look of this entire character for the whole game of D&D, which I think is so cool 😮 also Tasha is great and I can’t wait to pick up this book, she is definitely turning up in my home game as this mysterious witch who hires the party to collect ancient artifacts or something 😄
You can be HIRED to cosplay for dungeons and dragons! Wow Ginny, you have the life. Btw people are probably over it by now but I still LOVE your hair color. Owl bear hugs!

12:48 I KNEW I remembered seeing this pattern somewhere! That’s the one I got today to make the pouches! I am quite intimidated since I am not a good sew-er AT ALL and the one time I tried to make a coat years ago failed miserably. I can hand sew reasonably well but machine sewing & patterns are very hard for me. More so since my grandma passed a few years ago and she was the ultimate crafter! (apart from being a really cool grandma) Sewing, patterns, embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, all the crafts! I miss not being to ask her questions about sewing & patterns, seeing her for the holidays, just having her around cause she was super cool. The pouches are the smallest project I can reasonably start with and if I can get over my nerves going crazy frazzled just thinking about trying to do this, we should be good! My mom says to just go one step at a time cuz if you look at the whole thing at once then you will get overwhelmed really quick.
