There was a short lived TV show based on it. It didn't last long because of low ratings. I purchased 2 DVDs with some episodes. Insectasaurus wasn't in the episodes. The remaining monsters were on a military base under the command of General Monger. In the first episode an alien named Coverton arrives. He "apologizes" for Gallaxar's attempted invasion but secretly plans to take over the Earth. But he wanted to prevent Ginormica from thwarting his plans so he tried to neutralize her before his arrival. He sent a probe to remove the quantonium from Ginormica so she would be reduced to her normal size. It did reduce her to normal but she retained a small amount of quantonium and soon gained the ability to change her size at will (although occasionally her size would increase uncontrollably depending on her mood). Coverton appeared in many episodes and other aliens appeared as well.

This is one of my problems with this movie, though entertaining. Susan WOULD want her old life back. She had nothing to look forward to but a soul-crushing prison sentence until the alien showed up. Yes, it's good that she wanted to help her friends but what is there for her after? Her best bet was getting off of the ship, letting monsters and aliens both die, and go back to being a human with a future.

Yeah except the alien would have escaped if she didn't do this, then he would've come back and they would have been able to do absolutely nothing to stop him and her normal life would be destroyed anyway. So, yknow.

If I remember correctly her boyfriend dumped her and broke her heart and her family while not completely denied her they certainly were not very happy seeing her Why staying with people that doesn't really care about you, the monsters supported her as a monster and as a human I'd chose the monsters tbh

One (slightly) unrealistic thing about this movie is shortly before this scene Gallaxar, upon discovering the monsters on his ship, said "Attention all aliens. Destroy all monsters!" He would not have referred to his clones as aliens. To him Earthlings were aliens. But overall I liked the movie. Bob was great as comedy relief. Some of his classic lines are the following. Upon first seeing Susan he says "Is it legs? Did they capture a giant pair of legs?" Dr. Cockroach: "Quiet Bob she'll hear!" Bob: "But how? Legs don't have ears." Good point. Then after Link and Dr. Cockroach refer to Susan as "she" and "female" respectively Bob says "No way it's a boy! Look at his boobies." I also liked Dr. Cockroach''s mad scientist laugh.
