The scene of Gintoki with his head on the ground begging is so powerful. What a beautifully crafted scenario, i'll be happy to follow all of Sorachi's Gintama and future work for as long as he lives and crafts such amazing stories.

I really love Gin and Shinpachi in this arc. Gintoki begging, and to Shinsengumi of all people, was the ultimate sacrifice for him. It is not uncommon for Gintoki to risk his life for others, but his pride is an entirely different thing. Gin is a very proud person. Plus he also goes out of his way to make himself look like a villain.

I really, really like this arc, it shows how self sacrificial gin is for someone that he wants to protect.. and it just hurts me so much.. also I picked up one of my favorite anime qoute in this arc.. Tears are handy for washing away troubling and sad feelings. But when you grow up, you'll learn that there are things so sad, they can never be washed away by tears. That there are painful memories that should never be washed away. So people who are truly strong laugh when they want to cry. They endure all of the pain and sorrow while laughing with everybody else.

Actually no, I haven't watched any episodes of Tsukipro after my reactions for it. Maybe I'll continue my Tsukipro reactions someday... :)
