It’s a shame the US manager seems to think he’s not worthy of a starting spot or any playing time period. He should be a starter and helping us with firepower and attack. We are missing that extra boost. Really hope he gets to play and start against the Netherlands but I doubt it since he’s barely played at all this entire World Cup. Berhalter definitly has something against Reyna

Reyna is so damn good. He must miss Haaland because he would have a mountain of assists in just his short sting back. I mean real goal scoring chances. If he shows out in the World Cup and we put away our chances we will be good.

It’s just remarkable how effective he is breaking down defenders in the final third and passing the weighted ball to his teammates. No wonder he’s always so frustrated when they miss. His game IQ is insane and his teammates are usually a step behind him.

Gio Reyna is far better than some of the kids that are actually playing. I think the coach is insane not to use a playmaker like Gio Reyna. I think it is personal why this coach decides not to play such a great talent. Why keep one of your best talents on the bench for 3 good games? This is a player who can eliminate 2-3 opponents at the same time and make spaces that will yield to goal. The US men's coach is clueless and really doesn't understand the game of soccer/football.

(Not to mention gio who's literally never played false 9) than he should've been willing to play pulisic in the middle with reyna out left. Berhalter played 4 4 2 vs england and kept screaming for pulisic to drop deeper. Tim and CP up top and reyna on the left solves that problem.. but berhalter wasnt goingnto do that for alterior motives. And thatd why homie has to go

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....He's the best Damn American Soccer Player I've ever seen, he is so Smooth and Technical with the ball. CP10 is Amazing as well, but Reyna has this Skill Set that i have seen a American have, the way he Curled his 1st Goal vs Bremen was World Class...From a 17 year old! In the Future the USMNT will go as Far as Mr.Giovanni Reyna can take us

@Adam GT40 not the best at 17. Donovan won the Golden Ball award at the U-17 World Cup in 1999, 3 years later he won Best Young Player at the World Cup. Our current team is a long ways from reaching a quarterfinal like the 2002 team

Wright Pulisic Reyna MMA Robinson Ream CCV Dest Turner Wales qualified for the Euro and this World Cup, and they play in the Nations League. I don't think we're going to easily break down teams who know we have to beat them. gotta beat them in midfield and keep the ball, I think, and get Dest involved on the right. their front three are scary. we almost never look very fluid in attack, but set pieces with players like McKennie, Wright, Ream, CCV, and Robinson should be dangerous

Central. He used to be a center midfielder, but at the youth level he was such a ball hog that the coaches moved him wide to balance the team. Now that his maturity is up and his ego is down, it's time to move him back centrally.

I think our best bet for the WC is Adams/Musah double pivot. So you're either putting Reyna ahead of that pair, which puts McKennie on the Bench, or you're putting Reyna wide, which puts Tim Weah on the bench. Frankly neither of those are great options, but I think the team as a whole is probably better with him central. Probably comes down to opponent. If you think they're going to bunker, put him central, otherwise put him wide.
