The USMNT bounced back from their loss to Germany with a 4-0 victory over Ghana. Gio Reyna scored twice, his first goals for the U.S. in over two years. Christian Pulisic scored from the spot and Folarin Balogun scored his third USA goal.

I dislike GGG and have no clue how strong this Ghana team is BUT I love this young USMNT. Likeable, vibrant and these kids could be a problem in 26. Not saying they will win the WC, but the upward trajectory of this front 6 is awesome. Tighten up the backline and, with the right path, the quarters are conceivable.

@@marketingjames2718 yeah I agree, but reyna has some genuine talent and quality. As long as he can stay fit for a long period of time. I actually see a player in him and rate him. I think musah also has some potential for the longrun. The USA team is a 10x better than 5 years ago, but we are far from it. I believe that with this manager and squad we will finish in the round of 16. But ofc a lot can happen in the next 3 years, which happened in the past 3. Musah and reyna can grow into being elite players and if pulisic can stay consistent and win trophies at milan he will also be elite. Balogun also has bags of potential. Our defense needs strengthening. The lb is a solid lb for a premier league team (he was injured for the germany and ghana games) but his substitute plays in seri b which may be worse than mls(quality wise not fan wise). Mls is a joke and costs way to much money in the US. I would rather pay to see champions league and good European games. It costs over 100 dollars just for mls. But the best thing about our team is that 93% of players are in europe. 5 years ago it was like 15. And most are in a top 5 league which I am glad about

Nope, when it comes to soccer, Ghana is not a joke. People have their bad days. besides, this match looks like an arranged one. I can't be sure though. I am saying that because this is not the Ghana I know.

Friendlies honestly don't mean anything. Only Mexico and Brazil play every match like it's a tournament😂 The rest don't take friendlies too seriously and they're used more as a way to try new players and formations.
