The Locked Tomb altered my brain chemistry and I literally have not been the same person since reading it. So I wrote a song about Griddlehark (specifically about Harrow the Ninth). I’m flabbergasted that this series came out of a human being’s brain. Tamsyn Muir is living on the astral plane. Her mind is otherworldly.
Anyway, please enjoy the manifestation of all my brainrot.
If you think the instrumental bangs, it’s because it was brought to life by the incredible TJ Pailos. Ya’ll know all my songs start out on my acoustic guitar and TJ elevated this song to something beyond my wildest dreams. You may have also heard his work on my two Under the Hill songs, You Were A Wolf and Carved (which features the incomparable Victoria Carbol on vocals as well!)

The locked tomb series is So Much Fun it's the series that got me back into reading, the books are a little long if you aren't used to reading a lot, but the characters and the setting and the story is so fun and dynamic, all three books that are out so far are all quite different in terms of setting and character voice but I think that's what makes the series so interesting because you can still trace the continuous thread of story between all these otherwise quite different chara povs and locations. It's so so fun and honestly also very emotional, with gorgeous character dynamics and a really cool world, it's a very good time!! Sorry I feel very strongly about this series haha I think it's not difficult to get into and a lot of fun once you're in it :] hope you enjoy reading it if u get around to it!!

I was tryjng to type gio navas into the search bar to come to listen to this song again but my keyboard lagged hard for some reason and instead sent me to a song called "gonna come back as a country song" (which sounds like a normal country song but honestly has a really sweet theme where the singer wishes/thinks he will be reincarnated/immortalised as a piece of music so hes not worried about death)(?) soemthing like that) anyway.

the verse at 1:17 is honestly one of the most tragic aspects of Harrow to me imo (and also why Nona is so dear to me as a what if) but also it just reminds me of one of my favourite scenes in htn (when harrow asks forgiveness from john) it's so,,,, this song is such an excellent encapsulation of what harrow (the book and the chara) feel like to me, god i hope griddlehark have a happy ending ;_; also ur voice doing insane work conveying the emotion in this song, im going insane
