You should use the brush and finish with the sponge. The sponge literally soaks up your makeup

I would suggest using much less powder. You have gorgeous skin without foundation. If I were you, I would use less foundation (with a brush) and much less powder to let your natural beauty shine through. I always believe less is more with makeup. Also, a wear test with a check in after 4 and 8-10 hours would be awesome. I love the way this foundation looks on you!

@orchidgarden3124 I agree! I keep learning more and more every day, and it's thanks to viewers like you that give me positive feed back, so thank you so much. Now that I have been using a foundation brush, I'm hooked. I've also learned that after using the brush, you can follow up with a damp sponge. Another thing I have learned is that I do not like using powders! lol. I keep trying them, and they always disappoint. It's time I throw in the towel of them I think. @juliehanf7523 Thankyou for your comment! I actually haven't tried the Estée Lauder yet. I will get to it soon, I just keep buying new foundations, that it gets pushed aside. Were did you order from hun? If you ordered from Sephora, they will return "slightly" used products as long as it's within 30 days of purchase. I honestly thought the shade I got would be too light, but once applied, it actually matched my skin. Let me know how this foundation works for you when you try it hun. @lizsheffield872 Thank you for your comment. I have only recently started using a foundation for application. I have always only used a Beauty Blender. Because I have such dry skin, i find that using a damp beauty blender give the foundation a more hydrating light finish. I will continue to use a foundation brush (especially with more runny foundations), but I like to switch it up from time to time.

Corrine, I suggested a brush as thin viscosity foundation gets absorbed in the sponge. This means that you will use up more foundation than with a brush. I watch KZbin videos and have learned so much. Videos by Marlena Stell and Nikki LaRose are wonderful. Lisa’s videos are good too. Good luck and enjoy!!! 😊
