Kraftwerk (al igual que productores y grupos de Progressive Rock) se paso toda la decada 70's tratando de adaptar la electrónica al Krautrock copiando y replicando las principales lineas de la Música Electrónica ademas de copiar y replicar a Moroder y Jarre desde inicios del 70's, el album The Man Machine (1978) esta formado prácticamente bajo la electrónica EDM de Moroder (1977).

Hay una equivocación en tu comentario...los padres, fundadores y pioneros de la Música Electrónica son de la década 60s (Post Concreta, Moog, Experimental & Soundtrack): Kingsley, Dissevelt, Scott, Derbishyre, Hogsond, Cecil, Garson, Carlos, Prilly (J. Perrey)...los cuales son las bases y líneas más sofisticadas y evolucionadas de la naciente Música Eléctronica hasta esa década. De esa base se forjan el conjunto de productores y desarrolladores más sofisticados y revolucionarios de los 70s: Moroder (E. Munich), Jarre (E. Francia), Lacksman (E. Bélgica), Tangerine Dreams (E. Berlín), YMO (E. Japón), Schulze (E. Berlin), Vangelis, Faltermeyer, Tonet, Gizzi, Pinhas, Martín W. & Ian C...todos bajos sus líneas y bases propias de desarrollo las cuales al forjarse de la pura música electrónica tienen bases y similitudes entre si (Contrarias al Progressive Rock & Krautrock de Conny Plank que forja a Kraftwerk). Moroder es el más revolucionario por qué bajo su E. Munich forja la EDM Concreta (1977) y los Géneros primarios de esta escena el NRG & Synthpop que esto junto a la Música Electrónica de los productores y desarrolladores mencionados que también influyen en la Electro Funk & Escena Disco le dan la base definitiva y molde elemental a la ramificación de la EDM de los 80s (2da Generacion): House, Techno, Synthpop, NRG, Freestyle, Italo, New Beat, Trance, Acid, Electro, Eurobeat...incluido la base electrónica primaria de la llamada "EBM" y lo más sofisticado de la Electro Industrial. Los Punk, Glam & Rockeros convertidos de finales de los 70s (Numan, Depeche Mode, Ultravox OMD etc)...toman la EDM Concreta (NRG & Synthpop) de Moroder y la pura Música Electrónica (antes mencionada) para la elaboración de muchos de sus temas alternandolo con sus producciones Post Punk (escena New Wave) las cuales descienden concretamente del Progressive Rock, Krautrock & Ruido Düsseldorf (Conny Plank / Kraftwerk)...Conny Plank (Kraftwerk) y la masa de productores Krautrock vienen a adaptarse cuando se suben a la electronica de los productores y desarrolladores ya mencionados.
