​@@user-xd9ks4ik9s Yunnan is very humid, perfect for the growth of fungi. There is also a huge biological diversity in that region. So people naturally used the abundance of these fungi. Obviously many of them are really toxic, so poisonings by inexperienced people from outside of Yunnan are numerous and have made the national news. I think the mushroom stuff is also what most non-Yunnan-Chinese think about when asked about Yunnan. At least fungi seem to be most prevalent in a discussion with a Chinese person when speaking about the province.

Hey, I am a bit late to the party, but I just want to say I applaud the amount of effort and research you put into your videos. I'm Chinese and I first started following this channel with the South Korea video, I just stumbled upon it and happened to click on it. After seeing the many S. Koreans commenting about how accurate the video is, I was astounded and in honest disbelief that an Argentinian (?) can be that educated about Korea. Then I saw you posted this video about that today, and as a Chinese person, although some of the stereotypes are not entirely accurate, the choice of music is insanely mind-blowing. Like, how can someone who is a foreigner find these song references that only Chinese people would understand?
