I noticed that so many people were surprised that he got Guzzlord. I have been calling this for YEARS His true goal in US&UM was to take control of the Aether Foundation’s resources and use Beast Balls to make a practically infinite army of Ultra Beasts. I had no doubt that he would settle for no less than the canonically most powerful and dangerous UB as his partner! Aside from its typing (Dark/Evil), it just makes so much sense. I was honestly expecting him to get Guzzlord during the Alola villain arc almost 2 years ago but alas… Anyways, I’m so happy Guzzlord is finally here!! Ultra Beasts are my favorite Pokémon species ever 🥹 I’ll 5/5 it and make *sure* Giovanni/Sakaki treats it well 🫶🏻 -Also I would like to point out that this unit’s description suggests that Giovanni has been feeding everyone who opposes Team Rocket to Guzzlord… Definitely a mafia boss lol-

No, because that wouldn’t fit. This is a Giovanni theme, not a Giovanni and Ultra Beast theme. If we get the Ultra Beast battle theme, it’ll probably come with the Ultra Recon Squad.

Sure, someone else could have base Necrozma, but for which reason? What would base Necrozma have that his fused forms/ultra doesn't have nor would have an equivalent of? If there could gave been something, I would say it would be Dawn Wings Necrozma, if Dusk Mane did have the 6ex having Lusamine have the Dawn Wings colors, so that it would mirror what Lillie has with Solgaleo and Lunala. But that hasn't happened, and now it is pointless, so base Necrozma is even more pointless. And you can't simply relegate it to the trainer lodge or a free unit, it's a legendary/UB (only Oak and Mew got that treatment because they're a staple of the entire series before you mention them) I'm trying to spin it in any way to make sense to agree with you, but there's just no justification for it, so, at the end of the day, like I said, it's pointless and doesn't make sense.
