J'eu pià col là 't San Pé ch'a l'ha 'l trombon,
a j'eu trovalo beli cioch ant in canton,
e peu col là 't San Ròch, 't sà, col c'a bat ij cuèrcc,
col lì a j'eu pescàlo ant i na piòla con na dòna fòla.
A l'eu dije: "Sàh, brava gente siete prònti?"
m'an rispondivi: "Euh, a podima andé!"
A Castagnòle nòn han mai sentitò,
dei veri mùsicista còmme nòi.
Andoma a Castagnòle fieuj, òh che faciada,
a mangioma i dij agnolòt, fìn-a a s-ciopé,
baivìma pei dij crin, d'ògni vacada,
e peu, si sima firp nè, a j'è anche da carié.
Oh manigòt, lingéri, bon da cròta,
vogrèj che tute il dòne quì is pisso dòss,
la megliò dònna é quella paisanòta,
quan c'a sopata ben col sò cu' gross.
Basta, trei bòt, a tacoma con... i na bela nòta,
e ben, a ses ori, a ses ori i favo sempi, sempi 'a stésa nòta,
ma so-quì piriché, i na nòta tanto bela as lassa pa,
ma la gent me car, la gent a sè stofiàsi e son andà ca.
Oh Castagnòle in festa sei sparìta,
la piazza é tutta vuòta 'ntòrnò a nòi,
la nòstra arte quì nòn é capìta,
ma nessunò, nè però, ha musicista, còme nòi.
Neuv ori, gnanca n'anima quì is veuch nèn,

a podìma andé,
e parèj a sìma partì sensa mangé,
sensa mangé!

Un appetito da musicista
Ho preso quello là di San Pietro che suona il trombone,
l'ho trovato proprio ubriaco in un angolo,
e poi quello là di San Rocco, lo sai, quello che suona i piatti,
quello lì l'ho pescato in un'osteria con una donna sciocca.
Ho detto loro: "Allora, brava gente siete pronti?"
mi han risposto: "Certo, possiamo andare!"
A Castagnole non han mai sentito,
dei veri musicisti come noi.
Andiamo a Castagnole ragazzi, oh che fortuna,
mangiamo degli agnolotti, fino a scoppiare,
beviamo come maiali, d'ogni bevanda,
e poi, se siamo furbi, nevvero, c'é anche da caricare.
Oh manigoldi, fannulloni, tipi da cantina,
vedrete che tutte le donne qui ci stanno,
la donna migliore é quella di paese,
quando agita bene il suo grosso sedere.
Basta, tre in punto, cominciamo con... una bella canzone,
ebbene, alle sei, alle sei facevamo sempre, sempre la stessa canzone,
ma questo perché, una canzone così bella non la si smette mai,
ma la gente cari miei, la gente si é stufata ed é andata a casa.
Oh Castagnole in festa sei sparita,
la piazza é tutta vuota intorno a noi,
la nostra arte qui non é capita,
ma nessuno, nevvero però, ha dei musicisti, come noi.
Sono le nove, neanche un'anima si vede più qui,
c'é solo una bella luna sopra al fieno.
Gente, pagare qui non ci pagano, nevvero,
possiamo andare,
e così siamo partiti senza mangiare,
senza mangiare!
