Christian walker should be in elite. Huge power bat with 23 bombs (and this is with a month away due to injury), Always consistent, hits decently for average (.255 - 270 range) and currently has the best defence in the mlb no question. Has won the gold glove for the last two years and he’s most definitely gonna be getting his third this year.
@AngelaRitter-hd9jkАй бұрын
Thank you finally agrees with me he’s is actually good
@keithconnell846027 күн бұрын
I think Walker is better than the respect he gets, but 23 bombs isn't huge power. Not from a 1b. Granted, homers were a little down this year, but 23 is nothing to write home about. Walker seems like a far better value for a manager who just waits on first base. Once the elite guys are gone, you grab Walker and still get a pretty good player every day at the position. You could do worse.

Why are people continuing to perpetuate the myth that 1B is an easy position to fill? Teams that disregard it get crappy production, been many years since there's been a lot of sluggers there. Prospects are mostly coming out as center fielders and middle infielders while 1B is largely ignored. More than half of these guys are lucky to be starting, and sure wouldn't have been starting 10 years ago.
