My FAVOURITE line from Paul is "YOUUUUUUUUU never ever worry, and you never shed a tear." Everything from the delivery of that clean, round tone, with natural vibrato that's not too fast, and the climb to "never" feels so effortless, and the little riff in "worry" is a beautiful landing point after those two soaring notes.

Paul got offered but lost the bid, particularly because MJ lawyer didn't told Paul that it was an auction, in effect got outsmarted/outbid. Really, nothing on the link or other sites that i read or interview that suggest it turns really ugly. Upset, sure... Who the hell will not upset getting shit out for your own piece, after you chased it for decade and from a friend who he gave advice some years ago... But Paul on several interviews also mention that it 'was only bussiness' and try not to make big of a deal of it. Although he admitted that his friendship with Jackson is marred from that action. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYamqn2Oa9qambM kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3iUmXSMg7uWh8Um01s

@@starquant What's wrong to have said something like that? You said it yourself. Michael fully aware that Paul is chasing his own song, The Beatles catalog. If one of my friends do that to me, especially when he knew that I've been trying to do that for more than 2 decade then suddenly he cutting me off, also after gave him some bussiness advice only to turn it against me because he has more money or didn't want to go into a pissing money contenst, I will be angry as hell and feel betrayed too. It's not like Jackson is fully innocent here. He knows McCartney is after it!. But McCartney didn't throw tantrum in public didn't? Only made it clear that he is unhappy with what Jackson do, and their friendship is reasonably broke after that incident. Sure, Jackson told McCartney, but via his lawyer who didn't told that it was an auction. McCartney tried to get Yoko to his side, but it's futile. So finally Jackson outbid it. No matter how you sliced it, it's sneaky.

@gl70114 ай бұрын
@@Kayavod Underrated as far as it's place in Michael Jackson's body of work. Consider this, Nobody ever thinks of Say, Say, Say, when they think of Michael Jackson's greatest videos or songs. There are so many other videos that come to mind before this one does. From Thriller, to Beat It, to Smooth Criminal etc. Those videos are alot more edgy and exciting to look at. Say, Say, Say on the other hand is very low key, and almost subtle by comparison. I think this video is overlooked, taken for granted, and under appreciated for it's stellar quality.
