This song is making me feel an indescribable emotion. The only way I feel like I could describe it is a mix of sadness, nostalgia, and confusion, but even then, I'm not sure if that's the exact way it feels like to me. It does very much fit the towers and I love it regardless. Edit, Oct. 19th, 2023: Was coming back to this song cuz I've been on a nostalgia trip recently and I think the reason I felt the way I did when I wrote this comment is just cuz all of Black and White is nostalgic to me. The originals and especially the sequels were the first important Pokemon games to me. I've had my White 2 copy for what is nearing 11 years now, and I still have the save, in complete thanks to the 3DS Homebrew scene. I still have my first ever starter Snivy, who basically grew up with me it felt like considering I'm 18 now. Also ngl was surprised to come back and find my comment at the top of the comment section aside from the pinned comment. Shoutouts to the one person in the replies from a year or so ago for correctly guessing that I am in fact a massive Pokemon nerd tho, honestly a title I wear with pride. :)

And lastly, as the final few 4 notes hits: A hand picks it up, glances at its beauty then their deviant laugh echoes across the cave as the words "To be Continued" ominously appear on the screen.

When lisening to this I not only think of the adventures I had playing Pokemon black and white 1 and 2 but I also imagine what my character from 1 was doing during 2. I imagine myself walking up the bell tower and when I reach the top I just stare over the land on a cool night. I ring the bell in memory of pokemon who have passed and stand there a bit longer before bringing Zekrom out of his pokeball and patting him, standing next to him as we stare out over Unova. Eventually I climb on Zekroms back and we take flight, flying anywhere the wind might take us.

This theme sounds like a Zelda dungeon from an old DS or GBA Zelda game. Maybe a calm water dungeon. Considering how the calm and soothing music sounds like being cleansed in water. Maybe the dungeon can even be a dungeon with minimal threats, focusing more on puzzles, as the dungeon was once a religious place in the past, as seen with the scenery, and stained glass that shines on the floor from above.

I was just as surprised as anybody here, I went into this thinking, yeah it may share a small flourish and similar instruments but it can't be- hearing it hit my like a truck. I've done some music composition before it's surprising how things fall into place in specific places, you may have heard a song before and subconsciously try to figure what might come next, that happens a lot when composing too, thinking up the logical place for the notes to fall, that's why there are so many songs that sound similar.
