I completely agree! Victor's abuse was unforgivable, and it's great to see him face the consequences he deserved. I'm also so relieved that Coco made a full recovery!

When dealing with a horse that has been abused, like I have on many occasions, there is one thing you must have above all things. The patience of Job! When you get to the barn, your anger stays outside the barn doors, and the patience of Job to regain the trust that has been broken between that horse and the human race. That's why if my barn gets in a rescue, it automatically becomes my responsibility. I've handled all kinds. The kind that will lunge at you with mouth open, meanning to take a bite out of your face, or coming at you with front feet flailing. You have to know what you are doing when you work with these types of horses. If you don't, you will end up in the hospital. She trusts me because I do know what I'm doing. To handle these frightened, abused, and scared horses. I'm grateful for the confidence, but even I have started working smarter in my old age!! LOL 🤣 Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦

Thank you for your great words of wisdom. Most of my dogs are rescue rehomers.

@dcphifer4307 It is the same with any animal. You have to have patience. Dogs, horses, birds. It doesn't matter. If there has been trauma, they don't trust humans anymore. You build that back slowly, with patience, kindness, and soft voices. Have a safe holiday season. Love Jenn 💖

That’s such an inspiring perspective! Patience and knowledge are key when working with abused horses, especially when regaining their trust. It’s clear that your experience and approach have earned their confidence. Your dedication and willingness to learn smarter techniques as you go is truly admirable. Keep up the amazing work, Jenn! 💖

@Sapphirestories-e5w I strive to learn something new every day. The animal's wealth of knowledge is shared with me as I share mine with them. I think that's why it works. They see that I have been as vulnerable as they are. Have a safe holiday season! Love Jenn 💖

OMG, when Anna learned about her father's rival and how Victor treated Coco, it hit me deep! 😱 It’s crazy how history can repeat itself in the most unexpected ways. The fact that Anna decided to stand up against Victor not only for Coco but also to honor her dad’s legacy is so powerful! It kind of made me reflect on how our past shapes who we become and the importance of standing up for what’s right. 🥺🤜🤛 What did you all think of that moment? 🤔

I have seem Livestock look abused and starved. My heart cries for Animals abused and discarded. I am 72, a retired Animal Health Technician aka Vet Tech. Since I was about 5 or 6 I wanted to have a Farm like my cousins where I can rescue abandoned and abused Horses and Donkeys. Like Anna, adopting Coco who was in very bad shape, that is who I plan to adopt... no Animal should die alone and without love, even if it is only days to hours. At least it crossed knowing that it is loved and experienced care before it takes it's last breath and closes it's eyes. I have my contacts updated and plans updated. I found 2 farms that they will work. I found a used Horse Trailer and a used Truck that will do until I can buy a new truck and a larger stock trailer. I am retired and now have the time to start my Equine Rescue & Sanctuary. When they healed and become a kid again, they can become Comfort Animals for folks that need a friend... only if they wish to have a job to do and to get more love.

Your compassion for animals is truly inspiring. It's heartwarming to hear that you're planning to start an Equine Rescue & Sanctuary, giving horses and donkeys a second chance at life with love and care. Every animal deserves to experience kindness and comfort, especially in their final days. Your dedication to this cause will make a real difference in the lives of those animals, and your plans for the future are both thoughtful and impactful. Best of luck with your beautiful journey!

I abhor animal cruelty and I think there should legal ways to protect animals! I am city person but I do love animals and abhor cruelty to all living animals!
@Sapphirestories-e5w11 күн бұрын
I completely agree! It's important to have legal measures in place to protect animals from cruelty. Loving animals and advocating for their rights is something we should all support, no matter where we live.

Although I have never watched this video before but when ANNA saw this horse,and the owner just wanted to get rid of it, she didn't have the full amount to buy the horse but year's ago when I was in 9th grade, me and my twin brother wanted to build a go-cart,since we had the instructions and what was needed to build it so we went to the HONOLULU IRON WORKS,and when we got there, a man asked us,can I help you, and we said we need some steel pipes to build the frame for a go cart,and the owner was listening and asked us, WHO IS YOUR FATHER, and I replied by saying PETER L. YOUNG JR,and he looked at his employee and said get them what they need, and when he returned, I asked him, how much? And he said nothing, except when you go home, tell your father I said Hello, and to this day, I never forgot that, it was with such KINDNESS you have no idea, same thing in this video. And we were Kids, with big idea's. Unreal.
