Shekinah brings great energy and a different perspective, this was good to me! I’m not saying that I agree with either but I love this shake up! I think they are talking about two different things. Tam was speaking from a woman empowerment perspective and Shekinah was talking about a man’s inner will to provide (which is innate).

Okay but why is she soooooo uhhh closed minded is that the word someone help me here please. It’s okay for women to make more than their partners. It’s empowering most women make way below their male peers and no matter what whoever your dating should be supportive.
@naturallynnodi4512
@naturallynnodi4512 5 жыл бұрын
@@ohchicgirl3683 I understand what you're saying. It is empowering for women to make the most in the household. The glass ceiling is finally cracking, But what I think Tam was trying to do was validate that husbands are okay with their wives making the most money because I think this was around this time when Adam had left Fox news and now he's a stay-at-home dad running their winery. And then again I hear what Shekinah was saying that men may feel some kind of way if they aren't the breadwinners. Like it, lowkey takes their power of voice away like they don't have a say-so anymore because they aren't contributing to anything financially.

As intense as this was, I absolutely loved it. This show is called 'The Real' but sometimes it seems as if they're afraid to say what they really feel because they dont want to upset each others opinions. For example, sometimes Adrienne will give her really naive, self absorbed views on martial topics and the others faces will be like "wtf no boo" but they'll never actually say it out loud that they disagree with her or that her views are absurd. They'll rather beat around the bush with it. If Shekinah was a host on this show it would be a whole nother level of realness. This is probably the reason why Tamar got fired, she always kept it 100% real and their people couldnt handle it.

Just because Corey (we know who you’re talking about) supports his wife and holds his family down he’s not a BUM! He’s not sitting around waiting on Tia’s refund check. He’s an actor himself even if he’s not as famous. Most men would not be comfortable sitting at home and allowing their wife to take care of them. Yes, some men are fine with it. But a select few are confident and happy to do so.

My hubby makes more then me most of the time some days I bring extra money in from my job too growth and flourishing in our own life and journey together is all that matters! And a husband and wife are a reflection of each other! If a man is jealous or intimidated by his wife success career wise, he does need to see where he could help nurture care for provide for his wife by other means other than money like Adrienne was saying!!

It's disappointing that Shekinah made it out to be a black man problem. It's a pride that has been instilled in men for generations- to be the provider, to be the breadwinner. And I love that we've reached a point where this concept can be challenged and discussed. What should be challenged (if she wants to make it a "black" problem) is what we are teaching young boys- they should be learning to not be threatened by their wives' salary and that her earning more does not make him less than, that provision comes in different forms. I agree with Tam, both men exist and there are definitely men who support the financial strength of their wives.

Well you know even my wife became with some belly after she got cesarian to give birth to my daughter, i never suggested her to have a surgery, i always told her to eat right and offer her to pay the gym to exercise, because i want her to stay healthy and active.

Shekinah is right. The Bible does say men should be the head of a household and it also says a man that doesn’t provide for his own household is worst than an unbeliever. (Ephesians 5:23, 1 Tim 5:8) it also says a woman main role should be to upkeep her home and take care of her children (Titus 2:4-5) you may not like it but IF you believe the Bible is the final word on how to live your life then you can’t really argue it... and yes I understand not everyone believes in the Bible. I’m only addressing people who call themselves Christian

They fired her. Supposedly it was bc of her ex husband's demands and her attitude. Idk, i loved her.
