We were in 7 class and one of my friend got scolded apparently according to the teacher she was applying lipstick but her lips are naturally pink but teacher was so sure that she used lipstick she called her mother ..she told her that they don't even have a lip balm at the house where she will find... but the teacher just won't listen and continued to mock her in class. It stopped after my friend's mom complained to the principal .

Pretty privilege is real and can even ruin the one recieving it. Here's my experience....so till 15 I had uneven tanned skin, braces and stick arms and legs (I looked malnutritioned lmao), I was treated as if I was irrelevant by my friends( I never had guy friends back then btw) and had a boring personality. I had my glow up around the end of 15 ( I am 16 rn), gained some healthy weight, got my braces off, started taking care of my skin, and gained some confidence. I've had so many experiences like this, like people *coming* to me first, wanting to be my friends, people complimenting my looks, almost all the guys in my friend group always having their attention on me, trying to find ways to interact with me, my crush whom I liked for literally 4 years liking me back, etc. At first I liked it. Being someone who never received attention all her life, I enjoyed being the center of attention. Recently I realised a pretty uncomfortable truth about myself, **I Don't Actually love myself, I am just obsessed with my looks.** cause the only thing I get compliments on are my looks and never my personality or grades. I've started worrying on how I look to other people physically, of course some of it is also because I am going through a break up rn, with a guy(the same guy.....my crush whom I mentioned previously) who literally said to my face that "he liked me because I look good".....how messed up is that!!!???!! So yeah sometimes it does hurt me that literally half of my friends are my friends because of how I look. Back then when I looked "ugly" with a boring personality, I had no friends. Now, I have the looks and friends, still with a boring personality:')

During 6-8th grade, I had many friends but I only had one true friend. She was my friend since kindergarten and we're still together lol, it's been 12+ years to be exact. Anyways, initially, I had one more friend so we were basically a group of three but her dad transferred so she had to leave the school. So now, from being 3 good friends, we were now only 2. Alot of my other friends used to talk to us and it was all nice but whenever one of us used to be absent, none of them bothered to sit with me or her, ask us to join for lunch, play with me. Basically, they used to ignore us BUT, the next day they were all normal? I still don't know why they did that but it didn't feel nice, that's why, the moment I entered 9th grade, I and my friend decided to make a bigger group so we don't feel lonely anymore. This comes to present, I'm currently in 11th and got a group with 6 people :D

Treating attractive people better is sort of imbedded in our minds like subconsciously it’s not something u can control, humans just inherently treat attractive people in a better way it’s called the halo effect, I mean being blatantly rude to someone u don’t find attractive is completely different and just unjustified

I once made a Facebook post on how saying "all men are trash" is problematic and all the so called feminists in my list rejected me. So thank you for validating my point.

@@samosapav9745 My point was not about denying men are not doing trashy stuffs. But stereotyping of any kind might effect the mental health of those who are actually trying to change the conventional structure.

I literally don't have friends in my new school because I am not pretty. There was another girl too who joined at the same time as me but she found friends instantly and even all the boys talk to her. Recently we had to make a project for our board practicals she got invited by everyone including boys to join the group even though she was not good in academics or programming. And me on the other hand did not even get invitation from the girls and when I did ask all (boys and girls) they said yes and two days later ditched me saying I have other close friends. And when I asked someone why I don't have friends all they told was being smart is good for you but being fat and ugly is so not desirable. So bye bye. 🙂🙂🙂

My advice would be don't let their words get you it will be hard but just think abt it , work hard on your studies and your future career ...in free time work on yourself which makes you feel pretty like analyse your face shape which hair cut would suit it and look into a mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful and for mental health do meditation and yoga it will refresh your mind ..Honestly speaking those people are just jealous of you and second thing your skills and accomplishment will remain with you with time whereas face will just change cause of aging ..so all the best 👍
