Guitarversum Sandra Sherman I've been playing with Autumn Leaves for quite a while now. Chords and melody. I've watched various youtube teachers and I've never managed to play a chord melody arrangement (or create one for that matter) from start to finish for the song. Also as a side note most of them weren't as nice as yours. To be fair I wasn't very dedicated but you managed to get me to do just that in under one hour. Now I'm not playing it perfectly(i have to improve the speed and the rhythm) but it's a lot more than I ever did. So yeah. From my perspective I subscribe to the OP's opinion and thank you.

Hi Sandra, It was by chance that I found you while surfing the internet. Your "Girl From Ipanema" lesson caught my eye so I gave it a listen and then purchased it. From what I have observed you are an EXCELLENT+ teacher. The way you explain things is concise and easy to follow. Your reference to the theory in the lesson is not overbearing or confusing. I loved your quick reference to the Gb7bV as the tritone substitute for the tune but also referring to it as F#7b5,,,,It's helpful in nudging my slow thought process. My theory is weak and I do appreciate a teacher that points things out like "Here's a secondary dominant taking us to a ll-V of the next chord and quickly explaining it and how to learn more about it. Online lessons for the most part can't compare with 1-on-1 but yours a top notch. I will now consider you my jazz guru. You tube has some good teachers but I find most of the jazz instructors like to over complicate things. You have a gift. Thank you! Best regards, Kenneth Harper Vacaville, Ca.
