Apart from the bullshit of the word VILLA, hats off to this girl ( I've already seen in similar companies) whose origin I imagine: Vietnamese! Then I would like to ask her a few questions: how long did it REALLY take you? # humidity ? # given your meal... wouldn't you want to hunt prey with your hands, instead of eating something perhaps from the supermarket? # do you want to try smiling... and also doing something slowly? You'd really would like to deal with her, rather than with any real estate agency!

You do know these videos are fake right? She's either not doing this alone or being helped with power tools and equipment. She produces one of these video once a week and some of then she would have to dig out a massive mound of earth alone yeah that's not happening.

She definitely knows how to use the tools. Look at her shoulders and arms - they appear to be solid, well toned muscles. I don't know how many days or weeks it took her to build the shelter. I've about 90% completed 12ft x 24ft goat barn that I started building 2-3 years ago. I did have problems with the roof leaking and had a contractor send out 2 men who redid the roof in about 4 hours. I need to finish the front Dutch door and build a rear door, and finish the other four stalls. (first four are being used for goats kidding already), for a total of 8 stalls.Cut the boards for the floor joints, made the walls in sections so I could move and set them up myself, put in 6 windows, nailed and screwed the entire place together by myself. BTW I'll going to be 68 next month. I AM WOMAN!

Monica, I'll be 65 in July. You dear are my hero! I'm a less skilled woman, learning more each year.😁
@monicaluketich69133 ай бұрын
@dmel4905 I watched my Dad do some woodworking when I was a child. Then, about 10 years ago, I took a 3-day course on how to use hand tools - nothing powered. We each built an open wooden toolbox with a handle, then in pairs, each pair made a saw horse. The last day and a half, 5 students built a 4ft×8ft storage building for the community that taught ALL SORTS of classes. As the teacher said, if you can build a box, you can build most anything. Take it slow, learn from your mistakes- I made a lot of them, and remember that your body and abilities (both positive in knowledge and some negative in strength) will change. Things don't have to be perfect, just good enough to do their job. Just remember , just because the tag says it's a dog run, it may be perfect (with bird netting on top) to be a chicken run, or a place to separate a new goat mom and kid from the herd, or separate the fast growing male kids from any females...I have 3 10ft x 10ft runs and they have been used for all of the above. AND once you learn something, see if any of your neighbors want to learn and teach them. It only takes one brave soul to say "I know such and such, do you need help" or "You seem to know how to do that. Can you teach me?"

This young lady did an amazing job making this underground structure, and I respect her a lot for what she did here, and showing the methods she used was educational too. Having said all that, there are some discrepancies that I may be mistaken about. Such as: the dirt she dug out of the ground is obviously dry clay (dirt?). I cannot see the structure holding up like this for long, it would eventually collapse, especially when it rains, not unless it was meant for the project to be temporary and just to get a video out? And how could she dig that much and not get winded? And the sun barely moved. so this had to have been done over several days? Regardless, much respect for putting out this video!
@garyclarke96855 ай бұрын
Well said & your right had to take seve days I know I do this kind of work & I havnt dug a hole yet large or small & not encountered obstacles like stones & roots. Still very impressive though
@geraldestabrooks83305 ай бұрын
@@garyclarke9685Absolutely. This project is still doable as a long term dwelling, but it would take spraying concrete onto the interior walls (do I have that right?) and more. As a temp project, not worth the work, and she should have gave kind of disclaimer. A good watch regardless.

Well, the walls would give in from the inwards pressure, so irrespective of how she would attempt to keep the inflow of rain water under control, she'd have to get out pretty quickly before it all collapses!! Great work, however. Would be interesting to know how long she took. My guess is that this is easily one month's worth or work.

Incredible artistry and building skills! I am amazed by her abilities. She should teach jungle survival classes.
yep, no drainage, no shedding of groundwater. The entrance is a funnel in effect. That is a monsoon swimming hole. The material that was excavated out could easily build a hump over the wood. Just add extra wood for strength, hump up the center, cover with a tarp and then dirt and then vegetation. And then spend the time to make an upward sloping entryway from the low side of the hill. This is just a variation of a soddy or the much older pit house. This was a very creative approach that just needs a little tweaking.

Hardly a "villa." And the questions about rain are spot on.

Look. For all we viewers know, this entire production was choreographed. She had a camera crew; she probably had more than just that. Looking at the position of shadows from scene to scene can help in determining production value, but it's all still a production. This is. In essence, just tv. Maybe we believe what we think we see too quickly.

And how many month of work if 1 person would do it alone and additionally need to find food. Diging a bit in the forest with all the roots is very slow

All true , points. But its not about, how long the digging and who helped her. The title is click bait. Its about being creative enough, to turn , a simple strip of flat land, into a "jungle " dwelling. Without building plans. Modern day homes are built ,surface leave going up. Here its opposite, from ground level going down, to create a simply out of "jungle " or natural resources using a creative mind fueled with willpower. Mind over matter🤣🤣🤣

There's definitely professionals (and she may be one) helping her in the LARGE AMOUNT OF TIME WE DO NOT SEE! My husband has been in construction for over 40 years- he said oh no! Even at his prime when he was able to build a house with his bare hands from the ground up- he needed extra sets of hands!!! He was like uhhh yeah nah!!! lol.

Very industrious! My kind of gal! That being said, I live on the coast of Rhode Island. Glaciers deposited rocks eons ago. She would have a tough time excavating the hole. But I would not put anything past her cleverness! My hat is off to the young lady!

Of course it is, it's theatre. But it appears that people enjoy this pretend adventure stuff even if it is faked, with a crew of helpers off camera. I guess the people who make this stuff know that most visitors to the site understand its make believe? Show business, simple!
@Snookscat5 ай бұрын
She brought that stuff with her, in a cooler, likely. Along with the pots and pan. Idk why people are so critical of this. Enjoy it, or don’t. I think it’s pretty cool. 😊

This woman was amazing! I have never seen an American woman who could work like that. I almost believe that she had help in between photo shoots? No gloves on her hands - mine would be full of blisters by then. Awesome.
