More like my 1990 summer job restaurant workers ripped me off for not paying me the money even up to one month after I quit the job. Talk about a bunch of rotten restaurant scammers and swindlers! Why would I want to work in a restaurant when I am better off working at Woolco or Zellers in 1990?

This is a classic example of being able to speak up for yourself when need be because if you don’t, then you’ll explode and people are going to walk over you. I too am a people pleaser and it’s hard for me to speak up for myself.
@patl5604 Жыл бұрын
I have also been a people pleaser. Taken advantage of and not able to speak up for myself. I wish I would have because what this woman at my work did to me was verbal and emotional abuse. That made it a hostile work environment and I should have reported her. My point is that you have to be an advocate for yourself. No one can do it for you unless you also do the work of self-care.

That is where you HAVE to Set Boundaries. Let people know that you mean Business. Otherwise, they’ll take you as a joke and not take you serious. And not give you the respect you desire.
@banmanashah7 ай бұрын
I used to be a people pleaser, until I learned to Stop giving a fvck about what people think or say about you. You’re only a people pleaser because you care about what they think about you and how they would feel about you. But you have to realize, who cares??? Stop giving a fvck. Snap out of it. Once you stop giving a fvck about what people think about you and how they feel about you, you will feel Free. You wouldn’t feel ashamed to lose people. Because it’s all part of learning in this cruel world. And you can’t trust everyone. If you’re friends with a lot of people, then you’re doing something Wrong. I could care less about having friends. I had to learn how to defend myself, how to stand up for myself. Cause I know No One would do it for me. You gotta face the reality and accept the fact that you Will lose people whether it’s family or friends. Family will be your worst enemy. That’s why the saying “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”. This is All from what I experienced in my life from being a people pleaser to snapping out of it.

I'm never nice 😂😆 actually I have those good intentions to only my family and friends. Those outside don't. I have a radar that detects auras so I see whether or not to be nice or not. That's probably why I'm still single and have few friends bc it's common that ppl are taken advantage of for things. Me I stand my ground and evidently it scares off many meaning they're not worthy of the time I have.

Her shadow took control. This is why you shouldn't repress it but rather listen to it and learn. The shadow was teaching her that she needs to stand up for herself. The moment she did embrace it she actually ended up in a way better life. Shadow work tends to take years and a ton of self awareness and self forgiveness.

There is an old saying, nice guys finish last. This episode very effectively shows this. What is amazing is that Alexandra Soroka plays a schizophrenic role of two personalities which is made so effective by make up and clothing and creative camera work. I always write that the Amomama make up people have to be the best, because of the high def cameras, but they when beyond in creating the two faces of Emily. And, the name shows the writers continue to name their characters aptly for the stories. Emily means laborious, earnest and eager -- all qualities of this character. Once she learns to exert herself, the world is her oyster. All the other actors are marvelous, as is the direction and the camera work. DramatizeMe, you continue to come out with videos with superior writing Thank you for continuing to entertain us with episodes that continue to change and push the boundaries. Outstanding Excellence!

Alexandra really out did herself. This has to be the fourth time that I did not know that it was her in the role, because of her look and her acting. That is award winning acting and she continues to do this. This time it is even better in that she played two alternate versions of herself. This is a great actor! Also, Kudos to the actor that played Mr Brown. It is always great to see him in these positive, strong roles. The boyfriend character was well played by Mr young Russell Crowe. He was perfectly funny and I would not change a thing!

I just believe that in real life, if you burst on your boss, even if you are working too hard and you are way too stressed, they'd rather ignore your anger and give you more tasks because they know they are benefiting from your extra work or they will fire you immediately because they don't want to be disrespected

Refuse to sign stuff like that. If they really want to fire you, they won't bother with "voluntary resignation forms". They'll just do it and try to defend themselves at a unemployment insurance phone call and/or trial. Another one experience has taught me. They know its not worth trying to defend at a phone hearing, let alone a proceeding via the bench or a jury. Its why.they try to ask you to quit or make you quit rather than fire as that requires explanations if unemployment is filed
