Alex and Co USA Disney actually tries to prevent as much as possible from going into a 4th season because they have to pay actors more after the 3rd season. It breaks my heart to see such a great show go. I was going into 7th grade when it first came our just like Riley, Maya, and the crew were. It really helped me through a lot but really wish GMW wouldn't have went to Disney because of the G-Rated content they had to put out other than being able to discuss harder and more mature topics

I can relate, i think i was in 6th when it started. It really helped me with some things, but like you said, there are so many things that happen in middle school and high school that could not be on GMW because it was a Disney show. They should have put the show on Nick, at night there are more mature topics sometimes, and Nick used to play old reruns of BMW anyway, it would have been perfect!

Omg this is horrible!!! GMW had taught me so much, I loved that show! I remember my best friend and I fighting about who was Riley or Maya. We came to a conclusion that we were both. Just because a cast has young members doesn't mean they have to keep everything g-rated. Take Full House or Family Matters or Everybody loves Raymond. If a show is on a network that doesn't suck, the adults can make mature comments when the kids are off-scene. There could be more CoryxTopanga moments, scenes with mature jokes between Shawn and Cory, etc.

The only time backlash would appear is if those jokes were mentioned on GMW while it was on the Disney Network, since the only shows that are acceptable on Disney are G-rated shits. If GMW had joined a different network, they wouldn't have had to have overly g-rated themes to begin with.

I was a huge BMW fan. So in turn I love watching the Antics of GMW. My opinion is this, Disney, not a smart move cancelling GMW. I'd love to see Netflix or Hulu pick the series up!!! Netflix is trying to revive Full(er) House and doing it with success. Now, let's get Netflix to make GMW as good as a success as BMW. Contact Netflix and Hulu by email, phone and even write letters. Tell them, Why you love GAME and why they should pick up the series!!

netflix streamed it for a while as a title. But Disney was technically kind of "loaning" the show to Netflix to stream. But every so year that loan needs to be renewed to keep the show on Netflix for us to watch, Disney complied but since the show was old in Netflix's opinion they felt it wasn't worth going so they didn't, and as of today the 19th of February 2019, they took it off of Netflix and is no longer a title you can watch on Netflix.

I will NEVER be able to wrap my mind around this decision ever. I hadn’t felt closer to life than I did when I was watching Girl Meets World after spending my 90’s childhood anticipating more of Cory & Topanga. When the Finale happened for BMW I was devastated for months. But then a spark of hope came back into my life when Disney announced the continuation’s surprise! At first I was reluctant, because I thought GMW wouldn’t be able to live up to the impression BMW left behind, but after I saw the first episode and realized that ALL of the former cast were slowly making their way back into our hearts, after nearly fifteen, close to twenty years of having been gone for so long; I instantly found myself feeling the nostalgia all over again, just like with Cory and his entire circle, Riley and her friends were UNFORGETTABLE characters. I just wish another network would have seen all the promise and potential GMW would have had for so many other people for time to come because it’s shows like these that the kids of today need - stories about real struggles, real mysteries and journeys. About love and hope, friendship and loyalty, morality and spirituality. Things that so many have lost sight of. What I loved about both of these stories combined is that they never tried to exclude anyone. You got to see both sides of the haves and the have not’s, the hopeful and the downtrodden. The children of popularity and the outcasts. Any and anyone was welcomed to feel at home under The Matthews Roof with wide open arms! Wish they would have found the heart to keep it going! 💔

They could have had some really good episodes if there was a season 4. They could have had a show that featured Maya's adjustment to Shawn being her dad. They could have had another show where Riley and Lucas break up and how their friends react. In fact, they could have expanded that thought over several episodes. Could they have had an episode later in the season that could have hinted at Josh and Maya becoming a couple? Possibly. One final idea, and this is by far the most depressing, would have been an episode called 'Girl Meets Death' which would have focused on the death of Mr. Feeny. A show like this would not have been a far-fetched idea, really, because William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny, is in his 90s, but he's still alive which means he could have appeared in a later episode or two as a ghost to Cory similar to what Shawn's dad did for him on occasion.

honestly, when it first ended I was rlly upset and I thought it would be so weird without GMW but looking back, I think I was just trying to find a little more hope for Disney Channel, I didn't want it to die so I fell in love w GMW hoping it would bring back the old Disney, it didn't. The show was cheesy due to the G rating. There was a constraint held over the story lines, which didn't let the writers take the show to it's full potential. They had to tackle difficult issues by basically sugarcoating a heck of a lot of material, while still endeavoring to keep the seriousness of the situations in check. In all honesty, it was doomed to fail because -- it was on Disney Channel. Plus it was a reboot of a series, and how bad would it look if any channel just said one day "Hmmm.... Ok, we'll take this show and make a reboot of this reboot. We'll call it -- "The Re-reboot" otherwise known as "World Meets Girl". And the first episode would be called "Girl Meets A New Channel".

the show so the best. it taught me so much. im 18 years old and i still don't know things this world holds. this show helped me understand more things and most of all it taught me how to forgive. this show , showed me things I didn't even want to believe. it gave me a now look on many manners. it helped me go thought some very rough times. I want to learn more about this world and I wanted to be taught this in this manner. I have a great love and respect for the show and for the stars who played these parts. I loved how they ended it and how they said goodbye to the show. say "class dismissed" made me want to cry. I still have the best hopes that it will come back. they did say they wanted to go a few years ahead. looks like we will have to wait those few years. thank you Girl Meet World.

I am crying right now. Seriously. I don't want it to end. I grew up watching boy meets world and girl meets world now watching this is gonna make me cry. Part of my childhood is gone and I never really wanted these show to end. But at some point they all have to.

I'm so sad to hear this! I had no idea. I just thought the season ended. I've been waiting for the next season and having been waiting so long I assumed a hiatus as steven universe does from time to time. I remember watching boy meets world when I was little (I'm 22) and then seeing he had kids was just such a happy story! I loved watching :) I still hold on to hope that maybe something will come up and we'll see more some day.. Gilmor Girls release a year in the life 9 years after the end of their show for Netflix only.. so maybe one day we;ll at least get that little reunion.. maybe......

tbh the show kinda sucked. I saw what they were trying to do but I'm guessing because it was on Disney Channel and couldn't really have much leeway with the topics, the execution turned out bad

It maybe ended but I think this would be a golden opportunity to turn it into a teenage novel. The characters and potential it has, could really become a great piece of literature for young minds, especially with it having such strong female lead characters.

It's no surprised that this show got cancelled. The lessons were too preachy, the love triangle got too much focus and was unnecessary, and it really was nowhere near as funny as Boy Meets World.

So Disney won't produce season 4 of Girl Meets World but will make one for Bunk'd nothing against Bunk'd it's a good show but Girl Meets World is the best thing to come out of Disney i also would haved loved to see a Christmas episode where Maya sings It's Finally Christmas
