Can we talk about how good of a friend of Riley is. Why was Riley surpressing her feelings, she knew it was coming off just as forced there was no fooling anyone, trust. She had to make Maya say something, she just kissed him right but Maya was concerned for Lucas that was just as real, now this awkward tention was broken by lucas, finally. Before this episode I was Riley all the way, but I didn't pay close enough attention Maya brought them two together because Maya was really good its like yin and yang with them and thinking Riley is all good just because shes happy go lucky is a mistake. Nobody says Riley had no feelings for Lucas amidst Lucaya fans, but Maya let her friend have a relationship but Riley on the other hand was slick she kissed Lucas and then had to ask in front of them all how Maya felt about Lucas. She was concerned. I really think with this two parter and Ski Lodge Maya was clearly the better friend. And if you say about josh okay 1 josh is rileys uncle maya needed his help and 2 didnt Riley spend the whole night talking with evan that was longer than when she spent talking with Lucas in the library, she unspecialed her relationship

Maya was the good friend all Riley had done was embarrass Maya but Maya would get them together the first and second times on the train and then even though her feelings were put out there, by her sister, would still try and get them together again anyway the way she did was amazing even though at just about the same time Riley done made her connection with Lucas (and them at the Library) unspecial by talking to Evan all the night long. That satisfies me from what she had done in this episode. Going to kiss him then ask maya how she feels about him. It wasn't sacrifice. She KNEW Lucas wasn't going to be choosing Maya, she KNEW he wasn't

If i am being honest, even though riley did this with good intentions she made things much worse for all 3 of them. If i liked someone and my bestfriend was dating them and it was very clear that the guy had more feelings for my friend than me, i wouldn't want her to push down her feelings for him to make me happy, because when you push feelings down, sooner or later they are bound to come back up and explode in our faces, thus making the relationship between the 3 of us complicated and awkward. Plus lucas should have voiced everything he felt from the begining, instead of entertaining them both like that. If he knew he only ever saw riley in that way and the only reason he even tried with maya is because riley so stupidly pushed them to be alone. Although some of you say that was so kind of riley to push her feelings down.. .. no.. its not and that goes for maya too. Its unhealthy and will cause problems in the future. But thats just my opinion i guess

The only thing that makes it awkward is making them say so. We all did plenty fine in the era where it wasn't so tell all and there was discretion. She was managing her emotions and she was concerned, she clearly seen the bull. The thing is we all know that before he rode the bull (and was thrown off by the way) he wasn't the only one that were thinking riding the bull was going to be risky thing, perspectively Isaiah in episode when asked to speak truth by maya would say hes going to die, or Cleetus who looked at him like it would be the last time he wasn't being unrealistic, though all of Texas had been (Well with the exception of Isaiah and Cleetus and Lucas himself. He could have gotten hurt really bad or worse it could have been the end of Lucas Friar. Maya was not being unreasonable in the worst of cases we must not forget about that. That was done because he was looking bad in Texas over the Judy the Sheep situation, so he wasn't living in texas riley only told the truth when it convenienced her, Maya was in the right the entire episode and Riley was in the wrong Riley wasn't fooling anyone with her stepping down and that would be clear Lucas, Auggie, Zaye and Farkle saw through her act.

It was kind've frustrating and stupid that Riley just assumed she liked him just because she was scared of what would happen to him. He's one of her best friends so it's natural to care and be scared if something could happen to him.
