Either way, they lied about what they look like/are. That's not cool. Its understandable to ask someone a few questions or being confused if your meeting someone who looks/is completely different than what they let you believe they looked like/are.

Fun fact, western cultures prefer the Materialistic view on people which means person=body, meaning that they purely base people off of looks, on the other side we have the eastern cultures who prefer spiritualism where all the inner qualties of a human being are most important.
