The star fruit is a really good source of vitamin C, Janni...you can have it as a juice in the morning...they should be slightly sour but since the ones you picked are so ripe, they will be sweet. Enjoy a glass of freshly juiced star fruit every morning..nothing like it 👍😊

janni be careful about the "star" fruit, its very common in brazil and and if you eat a lot its bad for the liver

I think it's your kidneys, and people who take prescription medication. It can cause adverse affects on some people because of the oxalate it contains (even people without kidney problems). But it's full of vitamin C and fiber and it's quite a healthy fruit when consumed in moderation. So nice in a summery punch as decoration or salads and smoothie bowls :)
