Dare4ce I could bust out some books and do some research if it meant something to me. I wasn't trying to be offensive or anything lol. I was just going by this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja Although I'm pretty sure they were from Japan.

+Mitchell Stump I understand you weren't trying to be offensive and neither was I but there is actually a lot of speculations of the origin of ninjas. I've read that ninjas started "appearing" in Japan because of the influence of chinese monks and tacticians on the local population and the general need of spies. And I also read that wealthier samurais sometimes hired chinese mercenaries, who were called ninjas, for assassination purposes. But I may be over reacting to a simple comedic comment xD

+Mitchell Stump Well, for a start, googling "origin of ninjas" gives many results. Besides that, I have only sources in Serbian and Croatian. Not sure if that would be of any use to you, but this blog in Croatian has much data: hanzo(dot)bloger(dot)indeks(dot)hr (I'm writing the adress like this because I heard one can't post a link on a youtube comment). I had some other sites from which I collected data for a presentation about samurais and ninjas for my school about five years ago, but I don't remember them anymore :/
