Revisiting Skul the Hero Slayer! They added new skulls and reworked a bunch of items (and abilities) so I opened the game for the first time in a bit - rusty calcium-rich gameplay!
Once you beat the game, the story mode ends - so no story included here, but I recommend you check out the game yourself if you like rougelites :D

I've played this game a ton but I've never gotten past the twins in level two. The damage buff the sister gets when you take the other one out is brutal. Pretty sure I just need to be better about my item management with my skulls.

You will get there. After awhile you get to the point the sisters fight is trivial. Just keep unlocking stuff and improving your skills. I know this from hard experience xD

Haven't played the game, but from the video it seems like they keep the health they had before going angy. Might be a tactic to just whittle one down, and then focus the other so the one that remains is on low health? Again, haven't played the game so I might be totally mistaken.

@@ThePolish2107 It is, but in some ways the patterns of the second phase are much easier to deal with than the first phase. So it is just as valid to burn one of them down as quickly as possible.

I sometimes feel like if you get through the first area too fast, enemies in stage 4 get like 50% damage reduction

I played this game a bit, got to the second to last boss and gave up lol. My favorite skulls were berserker and predator the two best skulls imo.

I have played so much of this game. It gets real hard toward the end. Even with a lot of the castle stuff at max, getting past that Saint boss is difficult.

Feels like the editting on this one went a little too ham, the game already has ludicrous amounts of screenshake, with all the cuts and zooms and shit i had a really hard time following wtf was happening...
