The first time I went skiing, I got heat sickness. The mountain was not that high, only 1,600 metres. It was not especially cold, and the sun was out. As a person that does not live in a snowy country, I thought i needed to wear as much warm clothing as I could so, on my bottom half I was wearing underpants, tracksuit pants and two pairs, one woolen, of socks. On my top half, a singlet, t-shirt, woolen jumper and balaclava and over the top of all of this was a ski suit. I very quickly started to feel unwell.
