Kensington Gardens (taking in the flower walk, the Albert Memorial, Serpentine Gallery, Peter Pan statue, Italian Gardens, the round pond, Kensington Palace, and finally the Orangerie for a well-deserved tea and cake)
A walk in a Royal Park such as St James' Park or Hyde Park
Evening cruise on the Thames
St Paul's

I was a post office union rep there for over 14yrs.....the place is nice...safe...clean.... the very best part of Golders green is Hampstead garden suburbs.....So beautiful...So expensive to buy properly there...but SO beautiful to slowly take relaxing walks..

We spend 5 days. Tube station, Sainsbury&Tesco. It is perfect. No noise. You can sleep. Very educated neighbours. It is zone 3. Northen line, the price to zone 1. Golders Green to Embakmet. It is fine.

I grew up in Golders Green and lived there until my twenties. It's nice to see GG road, still familiar yet very different. It's not as nice as it was when I was young, in my opinion, but it was a wonderful place to grow up.

Hi G I P ! Always wanted to check out Golders Green for two reasons. When In London I see the the location on the buses and the main reason is George Harrison (a member of the famous Beatles ) wrote a song called Golders Green - i believe it is still an unreleased song - part of the lyric is "Going down to Golders Green in my Limousine ". So sorry about your computer hard drive, so I hope you find a good place to have it serviced. Also I have to say as I have seen many of your videos - your voice is wonderful, so soothing, calming and enjoyable !! Good Luck with your computer hard drive

Thanks for the tour! Golders Green looks more or less how I remember it when my family lived there when I was a kid. It's always been Hampstead's poorer cousin. Carmelli Bakery has the nicest bagels and challah bread in London, in my opinion :) It's been a long running joke that Golders Green has the worst drivers in London who love to double park.

It is a different place to what it was in the 90s and early 2000s..it’s now full of same style, same culture cuisine, mostly Korean and Turkish restaurants in twos and threes next to one another, gone are the old fashion boutique places and vintage shops selling cards and chocolates ect, ice cream places, authentic Chinese restaurants replaced with several phone shops, nail bars, phone stalls, and open fruit and veg and butchers shops. Usto be a pizza express, McDonald’s, even bars and pubs which have been closed replaced with a line of kosher street foods. Many of the best shops went out of business like video stores and privately owned places. Although still ones the best places you asked if it had changed and it most definitely has.
